Student Representative Council (SRC)

The Student Representative Council (SRC) gives students a voice and helps shape life at St Teresa’s College. It is an opportunity for young men to develop leadership skills, serve their peers, and contribute to the College community.

What the SRC Does

Represent students

Share ideas, concerns, and feedback with staff and College leadership.

Lead and serve

Organise events  and activities that build school spirit and community.

Support faith and culture

Help with, Masses, social justice programs, and celebrate First Nations culture.

Promote wellbeing and respect

Encourage a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment.

The SRC empowers students to grow as leaders of faith, character, and service, preparing them to make a positive impact in the College and wider community.

The Young Christians Group gives students the chance to live out their faith through service and leadership. Members support local community members who are doing it tough, helping with tasks like gardening and volunteering.

They also grow spiritually through prayer, reflection, and retreats, while celebrating First Nations culture and building a supportive, inclusive community.

The YCG encourages students to serve others, live their faith, and make a positive difference in the College and beyond.

At St Teresa’s College, Abergowrie, faith is lived through action and community. Each week, students gather in the St Teresa’s Chapel for Mass, creating space for reflection, prayer, and spiritual growth.

These celebrations are an opportunity for students to connect with their faith, support one another, and participate actively in the life of the College. Through weekly Masses, students not only deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ but also put their faith into action in everyday life.
