St Teresa's College offers a range of co-curricular opportunities that support students beyond the classroom, recognising that learning also occurs through experience, culture, and connection. These programs provide additional pathways for students to build confidence, develop skills, and strengthen their sense of identity and belonging.

The College’s Music Program provides students with the opportunity to learn a musical instrument and develop their talents through participation in the College Band and Choir. Music offers a creative outlet for self-expression, builds confidence, and strengthens teamwork, while also celebrating culture and community through performance.

The Care for Country program supports students to deepen their connection to land, culture, and environment. Through this program, students learn about sustainable land practices, environmental stewardship, and the cultural significance of caring for Country. Activities may include land management, conservation projects, and learning from cultural knowledge holders, helping students develop respect, responsibility, and pride in their role as custodians of the land.

Students in Years 11 and 12 have the opportunity to participate in the College’s Work Experience program. This program allows students to engage with businesses and organisations within their home communities, gaining valuable insight into different industries and career pathways. Through hands-on, real-world experiences, students build practical skills, confidence, and workplace readiness, supporting a smooth transition into employment, training, or further education.

The College also offers an after-school Cooking Program where students learn essential life skills in a practical and engaging environment. Students develop confidence in preparing meals, understanding nutrition, budgeting, and working safely in a kitchen. This program promotes independence, teamwork, and healthy living, while also providing opportunities to share food and culture with others.
